Honouring Ceremony: Magway Region Gov't presents certificates of honour, awards

Magway Region Government presented certificates of honour and awards to governmental employees, the public and organizations who and which showed excellent performances for the regional government.

In this honouring ceremony at the Town Hall in Magway Township, Chief Minister U Tint Lwin stressed that the awarding of certificates of honour and awards is a good tradition for national development and unity.

The tradition has gained many benefits for the development of the nation and human resources. The Chief Minister also urged the certificates of honour and awards winners to continue to work hard for the development of the region. In the ceremony, 269 certificates of honour and awards were presented for excellent performance in law enforcement, managment, civil service, economic affairs, industrial affairs, agriculture sector, social affairs, education sector, sports sector, arts and culture, livestock sector.

In addition, a modern model village award was also presented. This event also included a entertainment programme and the Chief Minister presented the cash award of 1.8 million Kyats to those who participated in the programme.
