Honouring Ceremony: Kachin State Judo Team honoured

The victorious Kachin State Judo Team that won the best woman and man player awards including Men and Women Championship trophys and the collective Championship trophy in the 2022 Region and State Judo Competition was honoured with a ceremony at the city hall in Myitkyina on 21st August.

At the event, Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan said that the State Government is providing necessary assistance for uplifting of the State Sports standard and the deserved awardings will be conducted depending on the success and achievement.

On behalf of the winning Judo athletes, the coach then encounted their experiences in the competition and future programes. Later, the State Chief Minister presented cash awards and certificates of honour for the Men and Women Championship and Collective Championship trophys and officials also presented cash  awards and certificates of honour to the best man and woman athletes and the winning women Championship Trophy team.

Kachin State selected Judo Team won Men Championship Trophy with 4 golds and five silvers, women Championship trophy with 7 golds, 2 silvers and 2 bronzes, the collective Championship trophy as well as man and woman best player awards.
