Honouring Ceremony: Independence Day celebrations participants honoured

The Ministry of Ethnic Affairs on Saturday honoured its employees who participated in the parade company, decorated float, commemorative both and traditional performance events in commemoration of the 75th Diamond Jubilee Independence Day.

During this honouring ceremony at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw, Union Minister U Saw Tun Aung Myint praised the efforts of the employees for the Independence Day celebrations.

He added that with the spirit of union, all the employees must make efforts for the national interest and follow the 5-point roadmap and 9 objectives of the State. All-round efforts must be made for ethnic unity and peace as Unity is Strength, the Union Minister added. And, a trophy and cash award the Ministry won for decorated float was handed over to the Union Minister.

Also, certificates of honour and cash awards were presented for the employees who participated in the parade company, decorated float, commemorative both and traditional performance events. This Honouring Ceremony included a lunch and entertainment programmes.
