Honourary Ceremony: Ministry of Energy honours staff

A ceremony to honour the staffs who performed dutifully responsibilities of departments and enterprises under the Ministry of Energy was held on Wednesday. At the ceremony, certificates of honour and honouraria were presented to the officers and staffs who performed dutifully and at risk the oil field security duties in the respective oil fields and fertilizer production tasks, natural gas pipeline linking and crude oil transportation of Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise.

At the ceremony, Union Minister for Energy U MyoMyintOo said that it was found that the employees who were honored, performed their duties in addition to their original tasks according to the work requirements with excellence and risk. On behalf of the Ministry, he would like to express his great pride for the staffs who worked tirelessly to transport crude oil from that oil fields that were difficult to transport.

The security personnel in various oil fields also performed their duties at risk to prevent losses to the state-owned property. He called for the employees to continue to work hard for the development of their departments and the country. Later, the Union Minister, the Deputy Minister and officials presented certificates of honour and honouraria to the staff from the oil and gas enterprises, the Fertilizer Factory and members of police force in the oil field who performed excellently the tasks in the respective projects and hosted a lunch to them.
