






The event to honor the Public Security and Counter-Terrorism Group (Urban Security Group) was held at the meeting room of the Rakhine State Government office on March 25, attended by Chief Minister U Htein Lin, members of the state government, relevant departments, members of the Public Security and Anti-Terrorism Group (Urban Security Group), and invited guests.
Initially, the Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, emphasized the establishment of a state-level Public Security and Anti-Terrorism Supervisory Committee in Rakhine State. He stated that similar committees have also been formed at the district, township, and ward levels within Rakhine State. He mentioned the formation of the security group for Sittwe, which has also conducted training sessions. The monthly allowances for the urban security group members are being provided, along with other benefits. This recognition is awarded because they have diligently performed their duties since the establishment of the group. He urged collaborators to work together to strengthen the capabilities of the urban security personnel.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister and the members presented allowances, cooking oil, and food supplies to the urban security members, who received them during the ceremony. Following this, one member expressed gratitude, and the Chief Minister warmly greeted the members.
After that, Chief Minister U Htein Lin, along with members, visited the Kyaybin Gyi Ward in Sittwe to observe and support the sale of cooking oil at affordable prices for the public, organized by the Rakhine State Government. They coordinated with the responsible officials regarding the necessary supplies.
Subsequently, the Chief Minister and members visited the shops within Kyaybin Gyi Ward to observe their operations and engaged in discussions about the availability of goods and the current selling conditions.
