Honoring outstanding students: Mon State CM provided educational assistance

The Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, State ministers and departmental officials attended the occasion of awarding prize of honor to the children of personnel from State General Administration Department, providing educational cash assistance and copy books for 2024-2025 academic year held at the State Government office in Mawlamyaing in the morning 18th June.

First, the Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein gave an opening remark on the occasion mentioned the educational achievements of Mon State this year, educational opportunities of new education system and encouraging to put more efforts for further success etc.

Next, the Chief Minister and State Ministers provided 4.5 million Kyats for the students who passed the 2023-2024 matriculation examination with distinctions and the students who are studying university level  and basic education level and 1.4 million Kyats of educational cash assistance for the students from the districts of the State and the Region and District administrators accepted.

Then, the State Ministers and officials provided umbrella and copy books to the students who passed the 2023-2024 matriculation examination with distinction and the students who are studying university level  and basic education level, one student who passed the matriculation examination with one distinction expressed words of thanks and the Chief Minister and State ministers cordially greeted the students, it’s reported.
