Honoring Outstanding Students: MoL UM awarded prizes of honor to the students

The ceremony of prize awarding for the students who passed the matriculation examination for 2023-2024 Academic Year organized by the Ministry of Labour was held at Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on Thursday and the Union Minister U Myint Naung gave a remark.

In his remark, the Union Minister said that in the social objectives set by the State, the points such as to implement a multi-education system that addresses all segments of society, nurturing intellectual and intelligent capacities among the entire population and producing a significant pool of skilled technicians crucial for the manufacturing sector and to nurture the youth sector, bringing out versatile, physically strong, knowledgeable, morally upright, socially adept and economically empowered young individuals, poised to lead the nation's development efforts, included.

In 2023-2024 Academic Year, a total of 21 students who are the offspring of the personnel of the Ministry passed the matriculation examination and among them 7 students passed with distinctions including one passed with 6 distinctions, one with four-Ds, one with 3-Ds, one with 2-Ds and 3 with 1-D. those outstanding students are appreciated and honored and will be awarded cash of honor and certificate of honor.

Next, the Union Minister, Deputy Minister and permanent secretary awarded the cash of honor and certificate of honor to the students who passed the exam outstandingly. One of student expressed words of thanks. After that, the Union Minister gave words of encouragement to the students and took a documentary photo together with them, it’s learnt.
