Honoring outstanding students: MoHT Union Minister awarded outstanding awards

The Ministry of Hotel and Tourism held a ceremony of providing educational assistances for the 2023-2024 academic year and presenting awards for the outstanding students who passed the matriculation examination for 2022-2023 academic year and the personnel who won the outstanding prizes in the civil service trainings at the Jade Hall of the Ministry, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on July 18 with the attendance of Union Minister U Aung Thaw, Senior officials, outstanding students and personnel and the parents of the students.

At the ceremony, the Union Minister said the ministry is providing educational assistances for turning out outstanding new generation of the personnel serving at the ministry and honoring the outstanding students.

Although the amount of educational cash assistance for individual may be somewhat small, it means the honoring the students and the outstanding ones.

The cash is just a manner of support but the education cannot be bought with money. The students are urged to study hard to become the future generation who can contribute the country and endeavor to catch up with the system changing in line with the time.

Next, the Union Minister provided the educational assistance for 2023-2024 academic year through the director General and Deputy director General and awarded gift of honor and cash prizes to the students who passed the matriculation examination with distinctions for 2022-2023 academic year.

Then, the director General of the office of Union Minister awarded the gift of honor and cash prizes to the students who passed the matriculation examination with distinctions for 2022-2023 academic year and the Deputy permanent secretary presented gift of honor and cash prizes to the personnel who won the outstanding awards in the civil service trainings.

One students extended words of thanks on behalf of the students.
