Honoring Myanmar Women’s Day: MoSWRR UM participated in tree planting ceremony

Honoring the Myanmar Women’s Day which falls on 3rd of July, 2024 and organized by Myanmar National Committee for Women’s Affairs, the tree planting ceremony was held in Buffer Zone of Dakkhinathiri Township in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 2nd July with the attendance of the Chair of Myanmar National Committee for Women’s Affairs Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win and Committee members, patrons, chairs and members of related committees and organizations.

First, the Chair of Myanmar National Committee for Women’s Affairs Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win and wife planted saplngs of Gangaw tree at the designated places and the attendees to the ceremony also planted saplings of Gangaw, Starflower tree, Mahogany, Badauk and Flamboyant happily.

At the ceremony, the 150 saplings of shady and perennial trees and the Union Minister and Deputy Ministers viewed and encouraged the participants in the tree planting ceremony, it’s learnt.
