Honoring departments and associations: Shan State Gov. honored the departments and associations

A ceremony of honoring departments and associations from Shan State who served the duties in the Typhon Yagi affected regions was held at the hall of Taunggyi Township on 30th October and the State Chief Minister U Aung Aung gave the words of honor and presented certificate of honor.

The Chief Minister said that Kalaw, Hopone, loilin and Tarchileik are the most damaged townships aftermath of Typhoon Yagi in Shan State, so those townships need to conduct rehabilitation works effectively.

He expressed words of thanks to the relevant departments, philanthropic associations, donors and residents helped and donated food, clothes, cash and other requirements. And they cleaned the muds in the house and schools that affected flood. The Union Government and State Government provided the emergency requirements under the Emergency Response.

The ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on Disaster Management (AHA Centre), India, Singapore, China, Cambodia, Vite Nam, Malaysia and other countries are also provided the assistants for the Shan State as international support.

The Chief Minister also expressed words of gratitude on behalf of the Shan State government for the dedication of the departmental officials and staff who extended their support and assistance in these disaster-affected areas. Officials and staff from the relevant departments who provided manpower, supplies, and physical effort to aid the affected areas have been recognized with special appreciation from the Shan State government.

Following this, the State Chief Minister presented certificate of honor to the departmental personnel from Shan State who served the duties in the Typhon Yagi affected regions and a responsible person represented KBZ BANK, A to Z and Philanthropic association in Shan State (South) extended words of thanks. After the ceremony, the departments and 124 associations were hosted with lunch.
