Honoring contributors: Rakhine State CM honored contributors in State Day

A ceremony to honor those who contributed to the successful organization of the 50th anniversary of the Golden Jubilee Rakhine State Day was held at the Rakhine State Government Office meeting hall on December 18.

The event was attended by Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin and wife who is the Chairperson of the State Women's Affairs Committee, the Chief Justice of the State Court, members of the State Government, relevant departments, awardees, and the invited guests.

During the ceremony, Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin spoke about the 50th Anniversary of the of the Golden Jubilee Rakhine State Day event, which was held on December 15.

He acknowledged the attendance and support of the members of State Administration Council, Union Ministers, and Deputy Ministers.

The Chief Minister expressed that although the State Government intended to organize a larger event for the 50th Anniversary, it was successfully conducted in the current circumstances.

He also expressed words of thanks and acknowledgement to those who contributed to the successful organization of the 50th anniversary of the Golden Jubilee Rakhine State Day and called for offering their helping hands collectively for the sector-wise development of the Rakhine State, improvement of job opportunities for the local people and the regional development.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister honored the members of the security forces, relevant departments, and organizations with cash awards for their contributions.

Following this, on behalf of the awardees, Daw Aye Nilar, Director of the Department of Historical Research and the National Museum, expressed words of gratitude, it’s reported.
