






The honoring ceremony for the stdudents who passed the matricultion examination for 2022-23 Academic Year was held at Myitkyina University Convovation Hall in Kachin State on 6th July.
At the occasion, the Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe said that 7157 students passed the exam in Kachin State and it has 74.03 percent of pass rate in the national level. Having abundance of professionals is a basic fact that can helps for the country’s development.
All the faculty members and staff under the Ministry of Education are urged to put efforts into education sector development. He expressed words of thanks for everyone who involved in putting collaborative efforts for the development of education sector.
Students are also urged to try hard to become unique professionals who contribute for the country. Next, Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan gave a speech. It was follwed by the explanation of educaional affairs by the Kachin State Educaion Officer.
Afterwards, the awarding ceremony for the outstanding students was conducted and in which, the Union Minister, State Chief Minister and wife, Chief Justice of the State High Court, Deputy Commander of Northern Command, state minister for Security and Border Affairs, the minisers from Social Affairs, Economic Affaris, Natural Resources, Trasnportation, Ethni Affaris, and Advocate General and rector of Myitkyina University presented prizes respectively.
Then, Kachin State Educaion Officer presented awards for 3 teachers who had teahced to aheive many distincitons for the students. The performane sessions of the students also included at the occasion. After the ceremony, the Union minister met with the rector of Myitkyina university, pro-rector, professors/heads of departments, faculty members and disscued the matters regarding the development of teaching and management and coordinated the needs.
Likewise in the morning on the same day, the Union Minister along with State Chief Minster and officials concrened visited No.4 BEHS where they made observation on teaching and constructing buildings in the shool compound and fulfilled necessary matters.
