Honorary Certificates and Awards: MGY Region CM delivered the opening address

The ceremony to confer honorary certificates and honorary awards by the Magway Region Government for the year 2025 was held at the City Hall in Magway on January 4 evening. Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin attended and delivered the opening address.

First, the ceremony was opened with a performance of the song "Eternal Loyalty" by basic education school students. In his opening address, the Chief Minister stated that the Region Government holds the ceremony to confer the region's honorary certificates and awards annually.

This year's ceremony is held on the 78th Independence Day, and it is a joy to have the opportunity to hold and confer the honorary awards for 2025. The Magway Region Government will confer honorary certificates and awards on all individuals who have excelled in the administrative sector, the security, community peace and stability, and rule of law sectors within Magway Region; individuals who have excelled in the economic, industrial, handicraft, and environmental sectors; civil servants who have performed their civil duties outstandingly and the individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the social, sports, agricultural, and cultural arts sectors, among others.

Subsequently, the Region Chief Minister, senior Tatmadaw officials from the Regional Command, the Region High Court Chief Justice, and Region Government Ministers respectively presented the honorary certificates and awards to the recipients of the 2025 Region Government honorary awards.

Following that, the Magway Violin Group performed with songs, and the Region Chief Minister presented an honorarium of 600,000 kyats to those who performed and entertained with songs.
