Honorary Badges and Certificates: EMERCOM awarded to representatives of MoD Myanmar

The ceremony to present the honorary badges and certificates awarded by the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergency Situations and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters (EMERCOM) to the representatives from the Ministry of Defence of Myanmar, who diligently carried out earthquake rescue operations, was held at the Sinphyushin Hall of the Nay Pyi Taw Transit Centre on the afternoon of November 24.

The ceremony was attended by Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar Mr. Iskander Azizov, Adjutant General Lt-Gen Phone Myat, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and the representatives receiving the honorary badges and certificates, along with responsible officials from the Ministry of Defence.

First, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar Mr. Iskander Azizov, delivered a honorary speech. Following this, the honorary badges and certificates were presented to the representatives from the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, who diligently carried out the earthquake rescue operations. Afterwards, Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung, on behalf of the recipients of the honorary badges and certificates, expressed words of thanks, and the ceremony was concluded.
