Hong Kong's oldest pro-democracy party announces dissolution

Hong Kong's oldest pro-democracy party has formally decided to disband, its leader announced Sunday, following its annual meeting.  The decision was made in its special meeting in which party members passed the resolution to dissolve and wind up the party, which had operated for more than three decades in the city.

The chairman Lo said the party has no plans to start a new body under a different name. But he admitted some members might be affiliated with other political groups.
