Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races return

More than 190 teams from 12 countries and regions are competing in the event.  The annual Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races returned to the waters of Victoria Harbour on Saturday morning. 

The two-day sports event gathered more than 4,500 athletes from places such as Hong Kong, the mainland, Thailand and the Philippines. Among the dragon boat teams, one of the newbies is from Qatar.  The team said they enjoyed racing in Hong Kong but the weather was a challenge.

In Qatar, it’s also hot and humid. However, still, the air in here is so different compared to there. Visitors can claim a free beer at the Beer Garden after collecting a complimentary voucher by presenting a valid travel document at locations including Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Pier and Hong Kong International Airport.
