Honduras begins extradition process to US for alleged fentanyl trafficking

Honduras National Police Special Forces escorted three alleged drug traffickers to the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ) in Tegucigalpa as they are requested for extradition to the US on fentanyl-related charges. The trial started with the hearing of Mayer Banegas Medina, charged with conspiracy to distribute fentanyl, the CSJ spokesman said.
