Honduran military police guard inmates amid prisons operation

Honduran military police guard inmates in men and women prison units in Tamara, after the government announced that the military police would take control of Honduras' 21 prisons for a year starting July 1, in addition to training 2,000 new prison guards. The decision followed clashes between rival gangs in a prison near the capital Tegucigalpa that left at least 46 women dead.
