Honda Motor has unveiled the technologies for its new Electric Vehicles(EV)set to launch worldwide in 2026. These advancements will be part of its new “Zero series” EV lineup.
The Japanese firm says it is aiming to boost production efficiency, reduce vehicle weight and utilize the latest technologies.It aims to achieve a range of 480 kilometers or more with a single charge by cutting vehicle weight.
Thinner battery cases will also mean room for more.Smaller major parts and a simpler body structure will drop about 100 kilograms off the total weight. The use of megacasting technology in the battery case manufacturing process will boost efficiency, and fewer parts will also cut costs.
