High school students compete with robots in Geneva

For the first time since the pandemic, the international high-school robotics competition First Global returns in person in Geneva, Switzerland. Until Sunday, teams from all countries will be competing against each other with the robot they made over the last few months.

This year's theme is carbon capture, a nascent technology by which excess heat-trapping CO2 in the atmosphere is sucked out of the skies and sequestered, such as underground, to help fight global warming.
