


An accident of a Tatmataw helicopter near Hakha airport was confirmed by the leader of State Administration Council Information Team Maj-Gen. Zaw Min Tun during an interview with NP News.
According to the reply of the leader of SAC Information Team, the helicopter conveyed the matriculation examination question papers to the examination center in Hakha. The chopper took off Kalay helipad at 8:50 a.m. on 29th March. It arrived at Hakha at about 9:20 a.m. and the chopper downed due to the atmospheric pressure and higher density altitude at about 100 meters apart from the helipad.
The tail of chopper has broken. There is no report of death and five people including 2 Tatmataw members and 3 civilians sustained minor injuries. There is no damage of question papers and those could be sent to the military base safely. The Maj-Gen said that the downed chopper is being pulled up with crane.
