Heavy rains cause significant losses in Ha Giang

Heavy rains from Sunday night to Monday morning in several localities of Hà Giang province of Viet Nam have caused significant human and property losses. Initial reports indicate that the heavy rains and flooding have resulted in one house collapse, one death, and two injuries in Thông Nguyên commune, Hoàng Su Phì district.

Over the past few days, Hà Giang province has been continuously hit by heavy rains. Recent downpours have been accompanied by thunderstorms and landslides, leading to road closures and damaged public infrastructure.
