

Residents began assessing the damage from flooding on Tuesday in a number of towns across the Australian state of New South Wales.
Heavy rain forced the evacuation of residents in several areas on Monday.The State's Emergency Service (SES) said the town of Cootamundra may have had up to 200 properties which were impacted by flooding.Police were also searching for two people who disappeared in floodwaters near Boorowa in the Southern Tablelands region.Several flood warnings remained in place across the state on Tuesday.
