Heavy Rainfall Disrupts Life Across Uttarakhand

The India Meteorological department has issued a warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall in the seven districts of Uttarakhand. In view of heavy down pouring schools will remain closed in several districts. Continuous rain in the state halted Kedarnath Highway after boulder crashes down amid rain fury in Rudraprayag. Rescue and relief operation of district administration continues. District administration has shifted affected people to safe places.
