Healthcare Services: Ministry of Health conducts Field Medical Tour

The Ministry of Health is conducting field medical tours across various Regions and States, deploying Specialist Teams from Yangon, Mandalay, and Nay Pyi Taw to enhance healthcare services for the populace. From the 10th to the 11th of February, a Specialist Team from Yangon visited Myiek in Taninthayi Region to offer medical assistance at the Myeik People’s Hospital.

During this tour, over 1,500 patients suffering from a variety of ailments in Myeik and Kawthoung Townships received treatment, with some individuals being transferred to hospitals in Yangon for further care. Additionally, health educative talks were organized during the program, providing valuable knowledge to the patients.

This initiative is part of the Super Specialty Tour, which has been executed 15 times in 2023, including 7 occasions so far in the current year. The program is scheduled to persist, aiming to continually enhance public healthcare treatment across the nation.
