Healthcare after ‘MOCHA’: Union Minister makes inspections in Sittway

Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win inspected the cleaning of the garbage and reconstruction of damaged buildings in the campus of the Nursing School in Sittway of Rakhine State.

And, the Union Minister met the principal and trainees to encourage them and fulfil their needs. He also visited the Traditional Medicine Hospital and Head of the Rakhine State Traditional Medicine Department reported on the damage and the Union minister fulfilled the necessary things.

Also, the Union Minister met specialists and rapid response team-RRT medical teams at the Sittway General Hospital. The Union minister highlighted that the government emphasizes the damaged health facilities as the first priority and the ministry is also fulfilling the needs of health workers.

He gave necessary instructions to five RRT medical teams bound for Rathedaung and Pauktaw townships to provide healthcare to storm victims. The Union Minister also met with staff from the Public Health Department of Sittway and gave necessary instructions.
