Union Minister for Labor U Myint Naung, along with the responsible officials, visited the Yangon Workers’ Hospital in Tamwe Township, on 29th September Morning.
The Union Minister met with the medical Superintend and staff in the hospital's meeting room. He emphasized the importance of ensuring the hospital to be a trusted social welfare project for both employers and insured workers. He highlighted the need to enhance healthcare services for insured workers, ensure the provision of quality healthcare, and maintain and manage hospital equipment properly.
Additionally, he stressed the importance of preventing expired or ineffective medicines, prioritizing hospital security, and working together as a team to ensure the success of their operations. The Union Minister also instructed to be a reliable facility for insured workers, capable of offering essential services such as quality medical care with effective services and addressed the operational requirements.
Subsequently, the Union Minister visited the outpatient department, where he observed the medical treatment being provided to the patients. He also toured the inpatient treatment areas and the ward where patients were receiving treatment for kidney failure. The Union Minister also encouraged the insured workers receiving medical care, offering them financial support during his visit.
