Health Sector: MOH Union Minister inspects hospitals in Magwe Region

Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win together with the officials made inspection tour in the People’s Hospitals of Magway Region on Friday.

During their inspection at the People’s Hospital (Pyay), the Union Minister heard reports on the construction works of 5-story building in the compound of the hospital. He then instructed to set up quality processes in construction and to make arrangements for convenience of the patients. They later inspected the operation processes of X-ray Room and laboratory.

The Union Minister also met with the medical superintendent, specialist doctors, nurses and health workers and gave necessary instructions and coordinated the requirements.

During the inspection, the Union Minister and party encouraged the retired cilvil service presonnals who are receiving treatments at the hospital free of charge.

On arrival at the People’s Hospital (Aung Lan), the Union Minister met with the doctors, nurses and health staff, and gave necessary instructions. The Aung Lan Township Medical Officer reported on providing health care and treatment measures, and the Union Minister fulfilled the needs.

At the People’s Hospital in Taung Dwin Gyi, the Union Minister and party viewed around the Dental Treatment Department, operation room and medical storage room.

Then, they provided nutritious food to the patients and met with the staff from Public Health and Treatement Department. They also gave necessary instructions and fulfilled the needs on the reports of the Township Medical Officer.
