Health Cooperation: Delegation to attend ASEAN senior officers meeting

Myanmar delegation led by the director-general of the Department of Public Health left Yangon for Indonesia via Malaysia to attend the ASEAN senior officers meeting on health cooperation in the prevention of infectious diseases.

The meeting to be held from the 15th to the 17th of March in Bali of Indonesia will focus on experience exchange on the integration of public health, animal health and environmental health with a one health approach, and the forthcoming 42nd ASEAN Summit to be held in May will encompass deliberations regarding the issue of the One Health Approach declaration.
