





Under the supervision of Mon State Government, a ceremony for providing health care services and assistance to the retired civil servant personnel took place at the Myanma Economic Bank branch (1) of Mawlamyine Township on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein said that currently there are 27,803 retired civil servant personnel in Mon State including 9,057 pensioners at the Myanma Economic Bank branch (1) and (2) of Mawlamyine.By collaborating with the Mon State Public Health Department, plans are underway to provide health care services to pensioners on a monthly basic at the dates of issuing pension and plans for assisting basic foodstuff will be implemented at the branches of Myanma Economic Bank as well.
After assisting foodstuff to the pensioners by the Chief Minister and party viewed the process of providing health care services to retired civil service personnel by the health care workers, collaborating with town elders and volunteer teams, and their pension withdrawing processes. Then, the Chief Minister and party cordially greeted retired civil service personnel.
