Health Care Services: Treatment with Traditional Medicines and visiting the hospitals

As a gesture to welcome the Myanmar Traditional Medicine Practictioners Day which will falls on the Full Moon Day of Tabaung, health care services have been rendered at the 100-bed Traditional Medicine Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday.
Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win, together with the Deputy Minister, and officials, visited the hospital in the compound of National Herbal Park, and encouraged the patients. A total of 250 patients with various ailments received medical treatment provided by the Traditional Medicine Practictioners from the Traditional Medicine Department, 100-Bed Traditional Medicine Hospital, Myanmar Traditional Medicine Council, Myanmar Traditional Medicine Practictioners Association (Central) and Nay Pyi Taw Traditional Medicine Practictioners Association.
The Union Minister and party later visited Pyinmana People’s Hospital and inspected the Out-patient Department, X-ray Unit, Surgical Theatre, patient wards, laboratory and medicine store.
In meeting with the Medical Superintendent, Specialists, nurses, pharmacists and health staff, the Union Minister urged all to strive for improved health care services by effectively managing the resources in hand.
The Union Minister and party also visited Lewe People’s Hospital to inspect the facilities, and instructed the officials for better health care services.
