Health Care Services: MOH Union Minister inspected Hospitals in Shan (East)

Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win visited MongKhat People’s Hospital in Shan State (East) on Wednesday, and inspected the operation theatre, X-ray room, laboratory, out-patient unit and in-patient wards.

The Union Minister also met with the health staff and instructed to carry out the vaccination for COVID-19 and routine immunization process, school health activities and treatment services. He later went to MongYong People’s Hospital and heard reports on implementation of COVID-19 vaccination and public health care services.

The Union Minister later inspected the construction of patient wards and gave instructions. As of 16th February, MongKhat Township got 77% coverage of vaccination rate while 76% in MongYong Township.
