Health Care Services: Meeting on public health and treatment measures

A work coordination meeting on public health and treatment measures was held at the Ministry of Health on Saturday.

Union Minister Dr Thet Khaing Win attended the ceremony and made a speech, saying that the Ministry is providing health care services with life cycle approach, and as part of an effort, accelerated efforts are being made for providing regular vaccination campaing to the children.

Moreover, it is needed to strive for reducing the rate of maternity and infant deaths while prioritizing for mother and child health. He stressed the need to reinforce hospital information system and health management information system.

Then the Deputy Minister discussed to make systematic management on purchasing medicines and to strive for providing better health care services to the public. Attendees later reported on the work undertakings and requirements. The meeting will continue till the 9th of October.
