Health Care Sector :Students welcomed at Dawei Nursing Training School

Fresher Welcome ceremony for Dawei Nursing Training School batch 31 was held at the school in Dawei of Thaninthayi Region on Thursday with the presence of Chief Minister U Myat Ko. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the Ministry of Health is striving for providing health care services covering the entire nation by drafting long-term and short-term strategic plans on health systematically.

The ministry also makes efforts in nurturing the outstanding doctors, nurses, midwives and medical specialists. The Chief Minister urged all the trainees for constant learning to become experts in providing health care services to the people. He stressed that all trainees have responsible for preserving the good traditions of the school and handing down these characteristics to the next generations.

He added that collective efforts are also needed for the development of public health care services based on spirit of nationalism and patriotism. After giving opening remarks by the Region Health Officer and Principal of Dawei Nursing Training School, one of the trainees expressed words of thanks.

Then, the Chief Minister and officials enjoyed the performance of trainees. During the ceremony, the Chief Minister assisted 500,000 kyats for the school.
