Handover Ceremony: Tech-related stuff to Myanmar Digital News

The handover ceremony of tech-related stuff of Online Digital Newspaper & News Portal Services business namely Myanmar Digital News was held at the Ministry of Information on Tuesday.

Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn, Deputy minister U Ye Tint, permanent secretary U Myo Myint Maung, departmental heads, officials from the Megalink Advanced Technologies Co., Ltd and the staff from the Myanmar Digital News attended the ceremony.

Firstly, the Union Minister delivered the remarks that the information from all over the world is spreading timely due to science and technology advancing rapidly around the world. Among them, some online Medias adhere to media ethics, while others may lead to divergent political views and fake news are distributed with the intention of causing tension.

To know the situation happening in Myanmar timely, the media named the Myanmar Digital News was introduced on January 11, 2018. The Union Minister also expressed gratefulness for the donation of technical equipment from a joint venture company.  And, the Union Minister presented certificates of honour to the officials from Megalink Advanced Technologies Co., Ltd and concluded the ceremony.
