Handing over victorious flag: Mon State CM handed over victorious flag

A victorious flag presentation ceremony for the Mon State U-18 Men’s Football Team, who will be competing in the 2025 Inter- Region and State U-18 Men’s Football Tournament was held at the Yadana Hall of the Mon State Government Office in Mawlamyaing in the morning on July 2nd.

Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, members of the state government, departmental officials, team leaders, managers, coaches, and athletes from the football team attended the event.

The ceremony began with individual introductions and greetings from the team’s leaders, coaches, and players. Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein addressed the athletes, encouraging them to respect the rules and regulations of the tournament, to uphold the spirit of good sportsmanship, and to compete with resilience, determination, and unwavering effort in every match.

Following his remarks, the Chief Minister presented the Victory Flag and cash awards to the team. The Minister for Security and Border Affairs also presented additional honorary cash awards.

Later, the Director of the Mon State Department of Sports and Physical Education, along with team officials, briefed attendees on the team’s preparation and training status. The Chief Minister and officials then warmly greeted and encouraged the athletes.
