Halloween tops the charts with highest ticket sales for this weekend

Universal's latest installment of the "Halloween" horror franchise dominated the North American box office for a second week, with weekend gross of some $32 million dollars through Sunday, according to the box office.

"Halloween" sees Jamie Lee Curtis reprise the role 40 years after she made her movie debut in the original horror movie of the same name and became Hollywood's "scream queen." So far ''Halloween'' has a total gross of over $126 million dollars. The Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper vehicle 'A Star is Born" remained in second place at the North American box office.

Tom Hardy's "Venom," held on to the third place. In fourth place on this Halloween weekend is the halloween family movie "Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween". Coming up at the fifth place is the new release "Hunter Killer."
