Hailng Kayah State Day: SAC members and Union Ministers visited Loikaw

In hailing the 71th Kayah State Day which will fall on 15th January, 2023, the members of the State Administration Council, Union Ministers arrived at Loikaw Airport in the afternoon on January 13 and the state chief minister U Zaw Myo Tin, Commander of Eastern Command Ma-J Gen. Hla Moe, state ministers, advocate general, departmental officials, dance groups of Kayah national races cultural committee and the dances of the students from the Border Area National Races Development Training School welcome them at the Airport.

Next, the SAC members U Saw denial, U Sai Lone Sai, U Shwe Kyein, Union Minister Lt. Gen. Tun Tun Naung, U Saw Tun Aung Myint, state chief minister, commander, deputy ministers and officials arrived at the Christ the King Cathedral in Loikaw and cordially greeted the abbots of Loikaw Catholic Church and the displaced persons accommodated at the Church to escape from the armed conflicts and provided basic commodities of rice, cooking oil, salt etc.

Next, the SAC members and party visited Uttarayon Buddhist Monastery, paid homage to the presiding Sayadaw Baddanta Jinobhasa and offered the offertories. Then, at the monastery, the displaced persons from the armed conflicts were cordially greeted and provided basic commodities of rice, cooking oil, salt etc.

At the 71th Kayah State Day which will fall on 15th January, 2023, the ceremonies of opening the decorated gateway of Kayah State Day, ceremony with the mass, reading message, presenting honorary certificates and honorary award items, opening U Thiri asphalt concrete road and Min Kyaug asphalt concrete road, opening of 400 meters Synthetic play ground in state sports ground, physical fitness exercise hall and the departmental exhibition booths will be concluded, it’s learnt.
