Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and McKayla Maroney are on Capitol Hill to call for the Federal Bureau of Investigation to be held accountable in the handling of the former USA Gymnastics national team doctor Larry Nassar Investigation.

Simone Biles, Olympic gymnast said "I don't want another young gymnast, Olympic athlete or any individual to experience the horror that I and hundreds of others have endured before, during and continuing to this day in the wake of the Larry Nassar abuse. To be clear. Sorry.”

This comes after the Justice Department's inspector general revealed in July that t he FBI made "fundamental" errors in investigating sexual abuse allegations against former USA Gymnastics national team doctor Larry Nassar and did not treat the case with the "utmost seriousness."

At least 40 girls and women said they were molested over a 14-month period while the FBI was aware of other sexual abuse allegations involving Nassar. The FBI acknowledged conduct that was "inexcusable and a discredit" to America's premier law enforcement agency and all.
