Gunman opens fire inside church in US state of Michigan, killing 4 people

A gunman has opened fire inside a church in the mid-western US state of Michigan, killing 4 people and wounding eight others. The shooting occurred on Sunday morning at a church in Grand Blanc. Local police say the shooter rammed a vehicle into the front door of the church.

The man got out of the car and opened fire at people gathered inside the church. The suspect also apparently set fire to the church. The suspect was a 40-year-old man living nearby. He was shot dead by officers. His motive and other details are not known. U.S. President Donald Trump posted on social media that he has been briefed on the "horrendous" church shooting in Michigan.
