Guidelines Clarification: Shan State CM clarifies SAC Chairman’s guidelines

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye clarified the guidelines laid down by Chairman of the State Administration Council and the Prime Minister to the State level departmental officials at the Shan State Government Office in Taunggyi on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the Road Map and Objectives have been newly adopted and the two political goals of the government are to strengthen a genuine discipline-flourishing multi-party democratic system and to build a Union based on democracy and federalism.

The two national objectives are prosperity of the nation and food sufficiency.A government needs to prioritize on ensuring peace and stability of the country to promote education sector for the development of human resource. Food Security is a biggest challenge in the world and the country needs to improve its electricity sector.

The availability of sufficient electricity is necessary for the improvement of people’s socio-economic life. In explaining the economic objectives, “To develop agriculture and livestock through modern techniques that covers the entire people for the prosperity of the nation and food sufficiency and strengthen all-round development in other sectors of the economy’, the Chief Minister called for encouragement to the MSME enterprises and oil crop cultivation to meet high yield for local edible oil sufficiency and to export oil to foreign countries.

He also explained the social objectives on implementation of the comprehensive education system for the emergence of experts for the development of production sector, uplifting heath and sports sectors for fitness of the entire people and promoting the youth sector for the nation’s development work programs.
