Guatemala hosts official opening ceremony for the 2024-2025 cruise season

Guatemala hosted an opening ceremony at the Marina Pez Vela Cruise Terminal in Puerto San Jose to mark the beginning of the 2024-2025 cruise season.

The event featured a ribbon-cutting by director of the Guatemalan Institute of Tourism, alongside captain of the Sapphire Princess. This occasion also celebrated the first docking of the Sapphire Princess in the country. The ceremony underscores Guatemala's commitment to enhancing its cruise tourism sector.
