Ground inspection tour: MoALI DM made ground inspection tour

The Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr. Tin Htut made a ground inspection tour to the groundnut plantation planted with tractor-held seeder innovated by Nyung-U Township at the Special Oil Crop Zone on 5th July.

Next, the Deputy Minister inspected the Hsal-Pauk farm and the farm In-Charge clarified the plantation of mango, grapes and guava and the plan to grow the new crops suitable to the local land condition and climate.

Upon the clarification, the Deputy Minister gave necessary instruction.

After that, the Deputy Minister inspected sunflower seed producing plantation thriving at the plot of farmer U Thar Au in Kaing Village of KyaukBaDaung Township and shared the knowledge on the purifying seeds and yielding to meet the target.

Next, the Deputy Minister inspected Sesame plantation and double crop plantation of pigeon pea in Oh-Ai-Kone Village in Meiktila Township, met with the local farmers and gave necessary instructions.

Consequently, the Deputy Minister inspected the inflow of water into the Mon-Taing Dam and water storage, strength of the bank of DM, status of supplying water in the dam irrigation area and the stream of water from the relevant dams to Meiktila Lake and gave necessary instruction to the officials concerned
