Ground Inspection Tour: MCRD UM made ground inspection tour in Shan State

Chairman of the Career Rehabilitation Work Committee Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe accompanied by Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung, State Ministers and officials made a ground inspection tour for the implementation of rehabilitation works and more success of cultivating oil crops on 2nd October.

First, the Union Minister, Chief Minister and party met with the flood affected people in MyomaPariyattiSarthintaik in Kalaw Township, gave words of encouragement and provided rice, cooking oil and foodstuffs.Next, the Union Minister and party inspected the status of supplying drinking water to the wards of Kalaw Township with mobile water purifying truck owned by Department of Rural Development under the arrangement of Shan State Government.

Consequently, Union Minister and party met with the oil crop sunflower growers at makeshift briefing hall in Thante Village of Taunggyi Township, heard the clarifications of Chief officer of Shan State Cooperatives Department, gave necessary instructions and coordinated requirements reported by the local farmers.

Then, Union Minister and Chief Minister provided Yayzin Hybrid strain sunflower seeds, fertilizers, Russian spray foliar natural fertilizer for 156 members from 5 sunflower cultivation cooperatives societies in Taunggyi Township, 40 million Kyats of fund for the establishment of Smart Village and 30 million Kyats of Responsible Business Fund (FBF) to Pant Pone Village of Mong Thaw (West) Village-Tract of Taunggyi Township.

After that, Union Minister and party met with the flood affected people sheltered at the Golden Jubilee mealing hall in NyaungShwe Township, gave words of encouragement and provided rice, cooking oil and foodstuffs.

Union Minister and party arrived at San Phuu Village of Hopone Township, met with the flood affected people at the Village monastery, provided rice, cooking oil and foodstuffs and 15 million Kyats of Village Development Project fund each to 16 flood affected villages including San Phuu Village.

After that, the Union Minister and party met with women trainees attending income boosting sewing training course organized by State Small Industries Department in Hopone Township and local residents, heard the clarifications of the responsible persons, gave necessary instructions and words of encouragement and provided business usage materials to the outstanding trainees, it’s learnt.
