Ground Inspection tour: Kachin State CM made a ground inspection tour

Kachin State Government is making strenuous efforts to ensure local edible oil sufficiency under 5-year project. On 19th December, Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan made inspection in Madein  Field, Madein Village-tract of Wine Maw Township.

There, the Chief Minister heard reports on arrangements to plant 50 acres sunflower plantation and 50 acres soybean plantation in timely manner. 

Upon reports, the Chief Minister stressed on irrigation efficiency, provision of necessary cash assistance as well as digging artesian well using solar energy water pumping system.

After providing Yezin (15) Soybean seeds, Hsin (3) hybrid sunflower seeds and fertilizers to the farmers, the Chief Minister and party oversaw the scattering sunflower seeds and ploughing demonstration.

Later, the Chief Minister provided foodstuff to the stuff from the State General Administration Department.

On the 18th December, the Chief Minister attended the foodstuff provision ceremony at the Myitkyina Township joint-office, provided rice bags, edible oil and cash assistance to the stuff from Bamhaw District and expressed words of encouragement.
