Ground Inspection Tour: Kachin CM inspected double crops plantations

Kachin State Government is implementing increase of double cropping on paddy fields and vegetable farms for the food security of the State.
The Chief Minister U KhetHtein Nan met with the farmers in Pammatee north-west fields on 20th January and inspected the plantations of double crops. At the ground inspection tour, the Chief Minister along with State Minister for Natural Resources and State level officials met with the farmers at the fields where the monsoon paddy has been harvested, instructed regarding with winter double crops soy bean and sunflower plantation and coordinated requirements reported by the farmers.
The Chief Minister discussed that the State government provided pedigree seeds of soybean and sunflower and solar Power artisan wells for the irrigation and the Chief Minister coordinated with the responsible officials for digging the additional artisan wells.
Then, the Chief Minister together with the farmers inspected the thriving of soybeans and sunflower plantations and irrigation water supplying to the fields and provided cash assistance for digging additional artisan wells.
