Ground Inspection: SAC member held meeting with locals in Tanai

Member of State Administration Council Daw Dwe Bu together with Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan and wife, State Chief justice U Tuu Gyar, Commander of Northern Command Brigadier General Soe Hlaing and State ministers arrived at Tanai Township on 15th September.

First, SAC member held a meeting with the Tatmadaw senior officers led by the Commander of Regional Operations Commands, district/Township departmental personnel, education personnel, Township elders, ward/Village administrators, ethnic literature and culture groups, philanthropic associations, representatives of farmers and local residents.

At the meeting, the SAC member stressed the needs to address the environmental conservation, expand the agriculture and livestock breeding in the plain region by acquiring technical assistance and put effort for the regional food security, five point-roadmap and nine objectives set by the State Administration Council, development of the country, food security, boosting domestic products and encouragement of MSMEs, nurturing youth to endow with the five strengths, prevailing rule of law, peace and stability in the country and the cooperation for holding free and fair multiparty democracy General election.

Then, the attendees, Township elders, representatives of farmers and the local residents reported the requirements for the regional development.

The Chief Minister supplemented for the assistances to be provided for the regional development, assistance for the Tanai Region to implement agriculture and livestock breeding.

Then, the SAC member handed 142 national scrutiny cards to the students from the age of 16 to 18 under Pan Khin Project at No (1) Basic Education High School and the Chief Minister and State Chief justice provided cash assistance for the ethnic literature and culture group and philanthropic associations.

The SAC member coordinated requirements for providing technical assistance and agricultural inputs and mechanical assistance.

Afterward, the SAC member inspected a pig farm owned by Daw Nan Gyar raising over 150 pigs with the 70 million kyats cash assistance from the country’s economic promotion fund, inquired necessaries and provided veterinary medicines.

Similarly, the SAC member and Chief Minister viewed the welfare market selling commodities with lower price to the staffs of Myitkyina University, students accommodating in the dormitories and the people in the ward and provided foodstuffs for the rector and staff members and the departmental personnel.
