Ground Inspection: SAC member and party meets people in Bamo

Member of State Administration Council Daw Dwe Bu together with State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan and wife and state ministers attended public meeting, meeting with faculty members from Bamno University and encouraged the patients who are receiving medical treatments.

First, SAC member Daw Dwe Bu made a meeting with the departmental officials, ethnic literature and culture groups, merchants, MSME entrepreneurs, charity organizations and the local residents.

In the meeting, SAC member Daw Dwe Bu said that the State Administration Council is prioritizing 5 point road maps and 9 objectives covering the comprehensive development of the state and people.

Therefore, residents in Bamo are urged to put collaborative efforts together with SAC and state government for the development of the region and called for the open-minded discussion.

Then, the attendees, entrepreneurs and local residents presented the facts to acquire land belonging to the association, to be able to fully appoint ethnic language teachers, high prices of agricultural inputs, access to MSME loans, and the matters on the export of agricultural crop products, mechanized farming, loans and the needs and upgrading works of road and bridges and, the concerned officials explained back the implementation works that are going to be carried out by each sector.

Then, State Chief Minister clarified and supplemented the necessary matters including region development works, agriculture and MSEM loans upon the respective reports of the attendees.

Upon the clarification, SAC member Daw Dwe Bu said that Bamo is going to develop rapidly in a short period of time with the collaborative efforts among individuals and organizations as it is being located on the main spot of trade flow and transportation and then continued to coordinate the needs.

In the afternoon, SAC member and party visited Bamo University, Technological University (Bamo), Computer University and Technical High Schools and met with the rectors, pro-rectors, faculty members and educational staff.

In the meeting, the SAC member Daw Dwe Bu said that the universities play vital role in nurturing outstanding human resources and teachers are urged to put strenuous efforts to turn out the well disciplined and educated young people. 

Continuously, SAC member supplemented necessary matters upon the clarification of the rectors and pro rectors of the respective universities and continued to observe Youth Empowerment Development Week activities, teaching programs and booths showcasing the work implementations of the universities.

Afterwards, the SAC member and party visited Bamo People’s Hospital and cordially met with mothers and children who are receiving medical treatments together with health officials and provided cash assistance and nutritious foods.
