







The Chairman of Taninthayi Region Field Census Supervision Committee, Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko together with the region ministers and departmental officials viewed the enumeration of a ground population census in Myeik Township, in the morning on January 9.
There are over 260,000 populations in Myeik Township and a total of 189 ground census enumeration groups are taking the ground population home by home at 34 wards and villages.
Next, the chief minister U Myat Ko provided 62.4 million Kyats of cash assistance for the daily allowance of 945 enumerators and the secretary of Field Census Supervision Committee accepted the assistance. Then, the region ministers and officials provided cash of daily allowance to the enumerators individually.
Similarly, the region minister for social affairs U Yin Htwe and officials also viewed the ground census enumeration in Kyunsu Township and provided cash of daily allowance to the enumerators through the township Field Census Supervision Committee, it’s reported.
