Greenpeace activists project 'act for forests' on Brazil landmarks ahead of COP30

Greenpeace activists projected messages on Brazil’s National Congress buildings in Brasília, urging climate negotiators to take stronger action to protect forests. The light projections, which included the phrase “Act for Forests,” were displayed ahead of the Pre-COP meetings scheduled for October 13 and 14.

The demonstration aimed to draw attention to deforestation and to press world leaders to prioritize forest conservation in discussions leading up to COP30, which Brazil will host next year.
